I am a second-year graduate student at Concordia University of Edmonton, currently pursuing a master's degree in Information Systems Security Management. Concurrently, I am employed as a security research graduate at Treefort Technologies. I actively engage with several organizations, including WiCYS Western Canada Affiliate, ISACA and ISC2 Student chapters.
With over seven years of experience in the information security realm, I possess a comprehensive understanding of diverse security facets within organizational contexts. My previous roles have encompassed a broad spectrum of responsibilities, ranging from the assessment and implementation of various security tools to their meticulous fine-tuning, operation, and beyond.
Over the course of my career, I have specialized in Endpoint Security and Data Loss Prevention tools, leading the global Data-At-Rest function at Visa Inc. My expertise and relevant skill set enable me to conduct comprehensive security assessments, identify and evaluate potential vulnerabilities, and proactively address them through the deployment of suitable tools, solutions, or procedures.
My unwavering passion for information security fuels my commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments in the field, ensuring that I can make substantial contributions toward fostering secure digital environments.
