Kewal Dhariwal
Kewal Dhariwal taught at NAIT for 20 years and Athabasca University for 10 years (along with UofA and MacEwan University - adjunct faculty). He is a faculty advisor to many USA university programs, such as Excelsior University (New York).
He has extensive experience in business, data and computing technologies and has developed and delivered custom courses around the world. He is a founder of the DAMA Edmonton Chapter and also Executive Director of the ICCP. He has been recognized by IFIP - The International Federation of Information Processors, a global association, as one of the 60 outstanding contributors to the IT profession and professionalism in the workplace. He founded the Certified Business Intelligence Professional program in 2003 with TDWI.org and the Certified Data Management Professional program with dama.org in 2004. His clients include the likes of IBM, Tata Consulting Services, Accenture, Ford, Canada Post, Infosys, Barclays Bank, Motorola, Lloyds of London, CPA-Alberta, etc. He recently co-authored "Breaking Bad with 3D Enterprise Systems" an integration of a network of enterprise systems to leapfrog existing ERP systems approaches. He is on the management advisory board of the University's Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (AMII) and will be hosting Dr. Richard Sutton (the father of reinforcement learning) as keynote speaker at the 9th annual DAMA Edmonton Conference in November 2023.
